I love 5 Star saddle pads.. Have 2 for my 2 western saddles. Last year I bought a 5 Star Treeless Saddle Pad, for my beautiful treeless saddle. and I am very disappointed. It still has the wonderful wool and is well made, but the issue is fit. The front of the pad rides rather tightly on the wither causing soreness after a 4 or 5 hour ride. My girl is somewhat low withered but not mutton. I have tried everything I can to allow the front of the pad to stay up off the wither. I wish the good folks at 5 Star Equine Products could come up with a treeless saddle design that works with the treeless saddle folks out there.
